First steps in Ballroom Dance (Taniec towarzyski) for children from age 5 at PALMA Studio in Wrocław's Krzyki district. Rhythm, posture and ease of movement in a small group and a friendly atmosphere — no pressure to perform and no need to bring a partner, because the trainer pairs the children up in class. Expat families are welcome: trainers speak English, Ukrainian and Russian as well as Polish.

We start with a warm-up to music: getting moving, footwork, straightening the posture and rhythm exercises. For a five-year-old this is still play, but this is exactly where rhythmic hearing and the habit of holding good posture are built.
Then comes technique: basic steps, leg work, carrying the arms and finding one's bearings in the room. The trainer shows a movement slowly, splits it into parts and repeats it as many times as it takes — children learn through repetition, not through explanation.
We assemble the steps into short routines set to specific rhythms. The child gets to know dance's different characters: the calmer, flowing kind, and the faster, Latin kind, where all that energy can finally come out.
Work in pairs comes in naturally, and the trainer forms the pairs on the spot, rotating the children. Nobody is left alone, and nobody has to bring a partner from home. Classes end with stretching and winding down.
From a parent's perspective: a fixed slot in the week, a small group and a trainer who knows your child's name. Progress shows not in a ranking, but in how your child walks into the room in month three compared with day one.

See the price listWe teach ballroom dance from age 5. Younger children are welcome at our combined classes — gymnastics, acrobatics and dance — which accept children from age 2, and for children aged 2–3.5 run in a "parent and child" format. In every case, groups are matched by age and level.
No. Your child comes alone — the trainer forms the pairs in class, and during exercises the children rotate, so each one learns to dance with different people. Plenty of the technique is practised individually and as a whole group anyway, so not having a fixed partner blocks nothing.
None to start — dance classes are taught in socks, and that is how children come to their first class. Dance shoes are kit worth considering only once your child dances regularly and wants them; there is no point investing in them before the trial class.
A sense of rhythm, correct posture, coordination and fitness — and alongside them, the things no table can show: ease with peers, attentiveness to the other person in the pair, and confidence. Children also learn patience, because a routine is built from small, repeated steps.
The trainer welcomes your child and introduces them to the group, then comes a warm-up to music and the simplest steps — nobody starts with a routine. If your child prefers to watch from the side for the first few minutes, that is fine; they usually join in by themselves. Trainers speak English, Ukrainian and Russian as well as Polish, so your child will be understood. For the first class you need the completed questionnaire and parental consent — you will find them in the Documents section and can sign online.
No. Groups are matched by age and level, and classes start from the basics — footwork, rhythm and posture. Small groups mean the trainer sees every child and can adjust the pace, so a beginner never gets left behind.
A trial class costs 50 zł — a one-off entry with no obligations. You book your child in online in the Fitssey system, choosing a slot in the schedule. You decide about a pass only after that class.
You can cancel a booking for children's classes without losing the entry up to 2 hours before the start — in the Fitssey app, in the "My classes" tab. Cancelling later means the class counts as used, and the entry is taken from the pass.
Come in, meet the studio and your trainer, get a feel for the atmosphere — a trial class costs 50 zł and commits you to nothing. Booking online in Fitssey takes a moment.
